At the China Open on Sunday, Carlos Alcaraz easily defeated Tallon Griekspoor 6-1, 6-2 to record his 200th career victory at the tour level. Along with Jannik Sinner and Felix Auger-Aliassime, Carlos Alcaraz became the third player born in this century to reach 200 wins with the win, which advanced him to the quarterfinals.
The 21-year-old Alcaraz exclaimed, “I’m really happy about it; 200 wins is a great number.”
But I’ve already started my search for the third hundred. All I want is to keep moving forward and continuing. Playing matches and continuing with my current activities are things I am looking forward to.” Also read: Billie Jean King: first female athlete to be awarded Congressional Gold Medal

The 96-placed Next up for Bu is a match against either Alejando Davidovich Fokina or fifth-seeded Andrey Rublev. Ranked seventh Karen Khachanov defeated Argentine Francisco Cerundolo 7-6 (4), 7-6 (9) to advance to the quarterfinals and face Alcaraz, despite making four more unforced errors and fifteen fewer winners than the Argentine. In order to move up to No. 2 in the rankings and pass Alexander Zverev, Alcaraz must get at least to the semifinals this week. Zverev is recuperating from a sickness, thus he won’t be playing in Beijing.
