Carlos Alcaraz has stated his intention to compete in each of the four Grand Slam competitions in the 2024 season. Alcaraz participated in three of the four Grand Slams this year despite missing the Australian Open because of a knee ailment. At the US Open in 2022, he won the Grand Slam, and this year at Wimbledon, he won his second Slam.
Alcaraz’s performance in 2024 has been exceptional, winning six titles and reaching the No. 1 ranking multiple times.

He is pleased with how this season has performed thus far. He has a legitimate sense of accomplishment. After winning the Indian Wells and Miami Open, commonly known as the Sunshine Doubles, he regained the top spot in the world at the beginning of March. Alcaraz defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas to successfully defend his Barcelona Open crown.
“Next year, my goal is to play in all four Grand Slams. I don’t want to miss any of them and will continue to approach the game in the same way as I have been doing this year. I would be more than happy if I can achieve similar results to what I have accomplished so far,” Alcaraz expressed. The Spaniard said “That is my goal for the next season, it is obvious. Right now I am happy with the level at which I am playing, with the results obtained so far. The year is not over, there are still a few tournaments ahead, so I hope to finish it as well as it started.”
