After Matteo Berrettini rallied to overcome Thanasi Kokkinakis 6-7 (6), 6-3, 7-5, Sinner defeated No. 9 Alex de Minaur 6-3, 6-4 to extend his tour-level winning record to 24 consecutive sets.
Jannik Sinner stated, “Hopefully this can give us confidence for tomorrow,” as he currently stands 9-0 against de Minaur. On Sunday, Italy will play the Netherlands, a first-time finalist, for the championship.
