Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur has been forced to conclude her 2024 season early owing to a lingering shoulder ailment, according to the three-time Grand Slam runner-up. The 30-year-old has dropped to 22nd in the world rankings this year due to fitness issues, and she has withdrawn out of pre-US Open tournaments in Cincinnati and Washington, as well as the US Open itself, due to a shoulder ailment.
She missed the Paris Olympics due to knee concerns.

“Due to my ongoing shoulder injury, my medical team and I have made the difficult decision to step off the tennis circuit for the rest of the season.”
